Procedure
The jewelry is first cleaned, then noting the condition, identification, measurement's of the gemstone, color, clarity and cut are graded. A diagram/plot of each diamond weighing 0.50 carats and above. Metal fineness, weight of mounting and analyze the method and style of manufacturing, determine circa date or period if possible and a photo.

Allow a minimum appointment time of 1/2 hour. Reports are sent PDF via email attachment in 7-14 business days, depending on report type.

The grading of gemstones is a subjective scientific procedure. Grades on the same diamond may vary from one professional, trained grader/ appraiser to another, depending upon conditions of lighting, time allowed for grading, quality and accuracy of master (comparison) diamonds, and color and hue discrimination abilities of the appraiser.
